The test is used to inspect the compatibility of filter cartridges. It consists of: a tank filled with medium with a transparent lid, system for mounting the tested cartridges, compressed air supply system for the cartridges and mechanism for manual rotation of the cartridges.
The filter cartridge to be tested is placed under the cover in conical handles. The position of the handles depends on the length of the filter and is adjusted by means of a guide plate. After the tank is filled with working fluid, compressed air is supplied to the cartridge. The test consists of manual rotation of the cartridge in the liquid tank with a crank and observation of air bubbles coming out of the cartridge. The test bench enables the adjustment of the supply air pressure in the range of 0-350 mbar.
